Rated 4.5 stars due to receiving a damaged item initially then reordering only to have the package lost in the mail then recording again where it finally shows up.The bag itself has been great so far. It can get a little snug when fully packed as the metal bars that the handle slides into does take up interior space. I'd say you could get away with using this through elementary school but can't say it would work for school use beyond that.Pattern is great, vibrant colors. Zippers all work well and no issues with the handle. If a child is using it, remind them tilt and roll the bag at an angle so they don't strain the handle too much, I could see where the handle could have issues if not used properly since it does feel flimsy. Plenty of storage space and a good amount of pockets. Appreciate that there are 2 stretchy side pockets that fit water bottles.I previously ordered a roll-aboard/backpack that claimed to fit under the seat but it was almost 17" wide which will not fit under the seat on most planes. This pack is marketed for kids but it is working great for me. I put my MacBook Air inside in it's own sleeve and have plenty of room for in-flight essentials (documents, water bottle, cables, book, sweater, snacks, etc.). It seems sturdy enough but if I have to replace it next year I will still feel like it was a good value. The 3 compartments and side pockets make it easy to find things you access a lot like your passport and phone.My son is 3rd grader. I like this one but too small for him. I wish I ordered bigger one.Great rolling backpack for my child who has a lot of books to carry for school. There’s enough space for my third grader to put her things and the front pockets have enough storage for extra pencils. The wheels glide effortlessly!Finding a wheelie back pack is way harder than i thought! this one is enough room for my 3rd grader. folder, lunch box, laptop. Smooth wheeling, the handle is nice and easy to use.Daughter loves it for school. Less strain on her back and doesn't have to worry about the bag ripping from the weight ?. She loves the side pockets and how much items it can hold. She has alot of school supplies that she has to carry around so this helps with her back and not to worry about it rippingAwesomeUsed it for gym bag. The side pockets are ideal for holding a water bottle or other items. There's room to carry a packed lunch in the front pouch, along with the books in the larger section. It makes the need to carry books a pleasure rather than a chore. I use it for school but this Sunny Rolling Backpack is an ideal item for anyone!! It would make an great gift!!!Although the bag was great to begin with, it only lasted 4 months before the bottom completely ripped and started dragging on the ground. The sound of it rolling is loud to begin with, but at around the same time that the bottom ripped, the wheels became extremely squeaky and started resisting as it was dragged. Not only that, but since the bottom of the bag is low to the ground, it is unable to go over snow, leaves, rain, ext. without being picked up.The backpack itself seems well made but when you go and use the wheels instead of carrying on your back, the straps drag on the ground, getting caught under the wheels and eventually pulling apart thus not being able to carry on back. Purchased for Xmas gift for daughter and didn't start wheeling backpack until all snow was melted, so only lasted about 3ish months. Not impressedIt did not last more than 4 months and the handle broke off. Also, the handle is made short. Not good for tall people nor short for thet matter. Look for something else. If I could return it, I would but it was outside the return window period. I had to throw it in the trash.I ordered this specifically because the product description listed the width as less than what is allowed for (free) underseat carry-on on select Airlines.. However, it is several inches wider than advertised, so I had to return it. Other than that, it was a lovely piece and would be great for regular airline carry-on.
